Higher than the average shooter, but not Gears of War-esque. It's mostly cutscene gore, like Lara's first human kill. Pistol round point blank in the eye, you get a brief flash of chunks and then have to watch him bleed out. Combat gore isn't bad that I've noticed. It does look like Lara will be spending most of the game covered in her own blood, though.
Arrows have a tendency to stick straight up out of the ground or nearest wall when you shoot someone. There's a couple little bugs, but nothing too bad. Not as bad as ACIII, anyways.
I'd say the best way to describe this one is a cross between Assassin's Creed and Far Cry 3. I'm enjoying the hell out of it so far.

Just wrapped Tomb Raider. It was pretty good, though you'd have to be pretty stupid to not see the ending coming from about a third of the way through the game. Now...I kill time with BF3 and Black Ops 2 while waiting for Gears: Judgement and Ao2: Devil's Cartel.

My biggest issue with AC:III beyond the glitches is how hard it is to make money to do stuff like upgrade the ship. I miss AC:II's broken income system...
