Flyleaf is my favourite female led band... though I'm not sure how the new vocalist will do.

Nightwish transitioned rather seamlessly when they changed lead singers. In fact, I think I prefer the new vocalist more. That said, I really don't care for Flyleaf's sound.

Nah. I like Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins. It's her voice that annoys me. Also, the one time I saw Flyleaf live, their stage presence was sorely lacking.

The best way I could think of to describe it would be the difference between listening to a woman sing vs. listening to a girl. Evanescense, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil...all fronted by women. Flyleaf and Paramore? Girls. They're just younger less mature sounding voices. Nothing wrong with that, it's just not my thing.

Evanescence, and Lacuna Coil, both have a "cleaner"-- more refined vocals. Flyleaf is kinda gruff, and... It's not a sound you usually get from female vocalists. Metric is kinda different. I love the way their vocalist coos.

I like Crush, Crush, Crush, and Misery Business. Not sure what other Paramore songs are good.
