Today's music is Adam Green and Binki Shapiro
A duet collaboration by Adam Green (one half of The Moldy Peaches, and has several great solo albums), and Binki Shapiro (singer for Little Joy), and it's a gem of a pop album. Quirky and folksy, with a lot of heart.

One of my favorite things about the old TD forums was discovering new music via everyone's suggestions. I will definitely be checking back in this thread.

Mark Kozelek (Red House Painters/Sun Kil Moon) has released several solo albums showcasing his bluesy/folksy sound while covering popular pop songs.
His latest covers everything from Ted Nugent to Bruno Mars, and it's just more example of his rock-godness.

Going in a new direction for today's
The Deer Tracks are a Swedish indie pop band that mixes electronica and rock and it comes out pretty awesome. Ethereal, and danceable.

Eat Skull is one of the better bands in the "noise rock" tradition, which is basically very loud, very distorted, but also melodic rock. It comes out of the punk tradition, but also indie rock too.
this is also pretty mellow for noise rock.

From Nine Inch Nail's Trent Reznor comes industrial rock band How To Destroy Angels, which infuses Reznor's trademark hard sound with quiet ambient moments.
