I was starting to read Erin Hunter's Warrior series, but decided to drop it became I'm more of a dog person than a cat person, so I found an alternative: It's called The Last Dogs by Christopher Holt, it's a trilogy about three dogs who go out in an adventure to find their missing families. The first book is called The Vanishing.
