@Mojo- I haven't played it in a long, long time, but then, I've been writing quite a bit. I got bored of playing by myself in multiplayer, got bored of the scenarios... and I can't seem to connect to the servers...

Meh. The scenarios... You can download more, and some of them are good. Others... Others are just awful. lol.

It's turn based. Real time would... be horrible. Especially considering that you're controlling a whole army all at once...

Users can make their own maps/scenarios (haven't learned how to write a scenario, and I don't have the time to try it out), which are [sometimes] made available via the general server.

I don't do too well with RTS's. Especially the combat.

Oh so that is what it is. I love games like that I played Civ III for years I then got Civ IV (golden edition) at a flea market but my computer had trouble handling it then I forgot about it.
