At the moment, I'm reading multiple books. Most notably:
"Original Breath" by Larry Randolph:
His subtitle is, "Expressing your originality in a world suffocating from sameness." Larry has a very easy going and friendly style of writing, which I greatly enjoy. Yes, this is a Christian book, but it is not a Bible-thumper (at least, I don't see it that way). It addresses self-esteem issues, for one thing. However, whether or not you struggle with identity issues, I recommend this book.
"Patriot Pirates" by Robert Patton:
Written by the grandson of General George S. Patton, this book goes into detail on the privateering aspect of the American Revolution. It reads like a documentary, which is fine by me, but might put off a reader who doesn't like trying to remember names, personalities, etc. However, it's obvious that the author really did his research and loves history. If you have any interest in this topic, this book is worth looking into.
