I completely forgot which thread I was looking at. Wow. Brainfart moment.
Listening to Gordon Duncan, the piper.... This title is waaaaay too long. Pipers have this strange habit of putting multiple songs in what they call a "set" (which is really a medley), so when they record them, they list all of the songs, with slashes between them. Actually, it's not just pipers. It's Celtic folks in general. lol.

Massacre of Glencoe, by Gordon Duncan. I believe this piece is a piebroch, which is normally very long and drawn out (on the bagpipes), with little variations in the tune, but not a fast beat at all. Often played in memory of people/serious events. I love piebrochs... and I may have spelled that wrong.
