Anyway, I try to ignore some things in order to get enjoyment out of the "whole". Some things are just too out there, but some things like Big Bang Theory I find hysterical, even though some of their jokes are dirty.
Now, as for the question of the thread, I am going to watch Teen Titans with my little brother... It's a cartoon about teenage superheroes in the DC Comics Universe.

Last night I started watching a Hallmark Christmas movie called "Call me Mrs. Miracle." It has Firefly's Jewel Staite in it. I still have to see how it ends.

I've been following her career since... Higher Ground. Ever seen that show?.. It was a sappy teen drama that only lasted one season, I believe. It was before Firefly.

God Loves Uganda is about colonial efforts in Uganda by charismatics that include a "kill the gays" bill. As of this summer the the death penalty for "serial offenders" (meaning people who have consensual same sex relationships more than once) was amended to life in prison. It passed a couple of days ago.
Blackfish is about orca whale abuse that resulted in the deaths of three sea world trainers.
Cropsey is about the kidnapping of children on Stanton island and how it relates to a local urban legend.
