Since we obviously can't play them yet, this is where we can discuss games we're looking forward to. Console fanboyism is discouraged.



It took me a while to find Bastion, but when I did get around to playing it, I instantly fell in love. From the smoky-voiced narration of Logan Cunningham to the wildly varied and especially haunting soundtrack, the whimsical hand-drawn animation, and crazy upgradeable weapons...Bastion is easily one of my favourite games ever. The above link leads to Penny Arcade's initial thoughts on Transistor, and includes the reveal trailer. I. Can't. Wait.


Also, Batman: Arkham Origins.

I say discouraged because it's inevitable to an extent, thanks to console exclusives. I'd love to pick up Last of Us when it comes out, but I'm not exactly ready to drop $300 for a PS3 just for one game, especially with PS4 just around the corner.

Exactly. And I think by this point, we've pretty firmly established that no amount of discussion or trash talk is going to sway anyone else to the enemy. So what's the point?

Re: Fuse; I hadn't heard of it before you just mentioned it (I'm pretty sheltered), but I just checked out the reveal. It looks promising.

Yep, I like the PS3 best, I won't lie, but I don't understand the heated fan wars over the superior system. If I tell someone to get a PS3, it's so I can play games with them.

Insomniac makes some superb games. They've partnered this one with EA to make it multiplatform (in the past they were Playstation exclusive). So I'm weary of it, but coop is my favorite thing in gaming, so this idea really appeals to me.

If you don't care much for FPS's then, no, Halo is not justification for dropping cash on a 360... Never really looked into the Witcher titles. What are they about?

I'm both excited, and dreading the release of the PS4.

I dread the death of the PS3, and having to somehow scrape the money together to buy a new system, and a whole new slew of games.

I'm only mildly sad to admit that I'm kinda looking forward to CoD: Ghosts. I'm hoping it'll be about Ghost from MW2. Or at least feature him.
