Re: Doctor Who

A local theater holds screenings of the newer ones in cooperation with BBC for FREE! We got to go there on Christmas evening to watch the newest one. David Tennant is my doctor. I loved his portrayal because of his promotion of the idea that words triumph over weapons every single time. Matt Smith c...

Re: Doctor Who

I'm not as interested in Classic Who. Started watching when the third season of the reboot show came out on netflix, when I was just getting out of highschool, butnInnever went back to watch classic who. I've watched a few, but none of my friends are really into them and Doctor Who is something I us...

Re: Mass Effect 3

Yes, and written several Mass Effect Fan Fictions, because I'm a huge nerd and I love Femshep to death. She was the first female protagonist I ever played as in a game, and I fell in love with the way Hale voiced her. The ending wasn't as bad with extended cut but I still prefer indoctrination theory.

Re: Mass Effect 3

It wasn't bad... I liked it with a few reservations. The following is fairly general criticism with no significant spoilers. The good parts were the squad additions, especially Aria, and the character building they did on her. I liked that there were a lot of morality choices and I was happy to see ...

Re: Mass Effect 3

I don't have Xbox gold so I haven't played on it much.

I'm not a big multi player fan anyways. Don't hurt me...it's mainly do to extreme introversion and the scary, scary men who hang out on live. I've heard enough stories.

Re: Terry Pratchett

*points to SN and sig*

I have been well acquainted with his writing for a while. Good Omens, Monstrous Regiment, Going Postal, Thud, and Equal Rites are my favorites.

Though I do hold a special place in my heart for Guards, Guards! And Nightwatch.

Re: Terry Pratchett

I discovered Pratchett when I walked into a bookstore, found a clerk and said "I like fantasy novel. What should I read next?"

Going Postal was the book I walked out with.

The luggage is awesome!

Also, I love anything with Nanny Ogg or Granny Weatherwax.

Re: Shakespeare

I'm a huge fan. My favorite play is Mrechant of Venice, but I also love some of the tragedies like Titus Andronicus for the horror movie type stuff. Where else will you find a play about a guy who cuts off the head off his enemy, bakes it in a pie, and feeds it to the guy's mother? Currently I'm rea...

Re: Mass Effect 3

I don't want to post the link here, because the content is extremely offensive and mostly mysoginistic but a blog called Fat, Ugly, or Slutty details the treat, ent of women over Xbox multiplayer. It's a big problem. I don't like it, so I don't play. I will see if I can get a trial to test out multip...

Re: Mass Effect 3

yeah, I played it with the original ending, and that comic was pretty much what happened. (Maybe a bit of exaggeration, but seriously, I was invested!) we had this whole party to celebrate seeing the ending and were all sitting around and there was no epilogue or anything...it was more than anti-cli...

Re: Favorites list

@Mojo: I highly recommend all of them, but the last five are fairly easy reads (especially Harry Potty and The Protector of The Small). American Gods is a great book to jump into if you haven't read anything else by Gaiman (he wrote "The Doctor's Wife last season of Doctor Who as well) It's abo...
