Where to start?
It's an RPG, for starters. You have one main character that you play, with optional companions. I wouldn't go it alone unless you're nuts, even on the ridiculously easy setting.
Avadon is the capitol fortress of a kingdom ruled by the Keeper, Redbeard. He's ruled for many years, and never seems to age. Some folks think this is because of magic (which is probably the case). At his beck and call are agents of different levels- Hands, Eyes, and Hearts. Hands do all the dirty work, Eyes keep watch, and Hearts are his closest advisors. You play as a Hand, going out and doing various quests in each of the provinces within the kingdom (or defying Redbeard and simply pretending to do them). The nice thing about this game is the replay value- There are so many ways it can end... Work for Redbeard, work against him, work for your own gain, work to destroy Avadon... So many possibilities. Also, every action and conversation has a consequence.
Compared to Jeff Vogel's other games, this one has a very linear storyline... and the junk bag is one of the best game features since sliced bread... erm... since the "save" option.
