BfW (as it is known to those who don't want to type it all out) is a turn-based strategy game. I prefer to play the campaigns but sometimes play multiplayer maps against myself to learn how different units work.
I still have never gotten through the entire "beginner's" campaign –– Heir to the Throne (It's so LONG!), but...
It's not the game I automatically jump for, but I do like it now and again.

I love the game I hadn't played it in almost a year so I went and downloaded it and so much has changed.

I should check to see if there's a newer version. I have 1.10.5 right now.
Mojo- it's a free download at
Be warned... it can be addictive.

That sounds like the newest stable version that I just got.

Would it run on a poor machine?

I haven't found it to be addictive at all. But then I'm kinda picky about what games I like.

I agree with Mojo unless a video game just plain doesn't work I will at least give it a whirl.

If it's a free download, I will most likely at least read the description, if not try it.
Wesnoth has a strange effect on me. Sometimes it's addictive, but it's usually not unless I've found some awesome new campaign (or a whole list of them) to play... I've neglected multiplayer maps for a long time because... well... There's only so many different eras you can try out before you start to notice that they all somehow do the same thing...

Oddly, one of my favourite/most hated campaigns is the Bad Moon Rising trilogy. It's got an interesting storyline, but those blue people are phenomenally difficult to kill off, even on the easy setting.

If I have time later, I will download this game... Can you play online?
