I've heard from a few people that Pacific Rim was good.

Started watching a show called "Jericho" on netflix. We blew through the first season in a couple days. And finally got around to checking out How I Met Your Mother... "Haaaave you met Ted?"

O.o I'm so happy someone else found Jericho! It's such a good show. I still go back and watch it every once in a while. There's a show I wish Netflix would revive.

Under the Dome had a real Jericho vibe during the premiere, then it just turned into a snooze-fest.

Did anyone else here watch any of NBC's Hannibal?

Haven't seen Under The Dome, nor Hannibal..

Finally watched Expendables 2... Oh, man, this movie... I couldn't stop laughing. Just. So. Much. Better than the first movie... And Chuck Norris!!!!!

Just watched Oblivion. It stars Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman. It's a mysterious scifi adventure with serious special effects, and a surprisingly great score. In all, I really, really enjoyed Oblivion, and need to see it again.

Just wrapped End of Watch. I don't know that any movie has come that close to making me cry, or impacted me that deeply. I may not be a cop, but the strong bond of brotherhood is much the same in the Combat Arms community. Easily one of the greatest movies I've ever seen, and probably will try to avoid seeing ever again.

Judging from the trailers, it did not appear like my kind of movie, so I've still not seen it.

The last movie I watched was How to Train your Dragon.

This movie was sort of terrible until they finally introduced Anthony Hopkins' character, then it was... Mildly amusing. I feel like the balance of dark comedy with action wasn't as well executed in the sequel as it was in the original film. I'd recommended the original Red over this any day, or better yet, something like Seven Psychopaths if your looking for a little more bite in your comedy.

Just watched Jack Reacher again. I found a good deal on the bluray a few days ago... Man, I love that movie. The action scenes are great, the pacing is great, and it's just full of old-school tough-guy-attitude. And some really great dialogue to boot.

Crooked Arrows
It's about a lacrosse team on a reservation in upstate NY.... Actually pretty good. The opening especially... and I don't tend to go for sports movies.
